OUR COMPANY

SportSnax is the future of concessions, allowing fans to order game-time snacks from their mobile phone and have it delivered right to their seats. The system is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) hosted in the cloud which is designed to be deployed quickly and easily by venues using any basic internet-connected PC, laptop or tablet. Fans simply point their phone’s browser to the venue’s unique domain (e.g. dawgsnax.com) and are instantly presented with concession items without downloading any app or pre-registering.

Sportsnax was founded by Daniel Payne and Eric Hill. The two met while attending Mississippi State University and joined forces to start High Cotton News, a weekly newspaper in Starkville, Mississippi. After building a successful paper -- reaching over 51,000 readers -- they branched out into other publications, producing the biannual Starkville Menu Guide. Daniel and Eric developed Sportsnax after seeing dozens of people using cell phones in the long half-time lines at a MSU game.

Daniel has a vision that attending sports is about being engaged with your team and not caught up in unnecessary inconveniences. He is responsible for major company strategic and long-term financial planning decisions. Daniel graduated from Mississippi State University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Accountancy and earned his MBA from Delta State University. In his spare time, he enjoys kayaking, fishing, boating or simply relaxing with friends and family.

Eric A. Hill COO / Sr. System Architect

Eric continues to pursue his passion for technology at SportSnax, where he is responsible for operations and support of the entire information technology infrastructure. Prior to SportSnax, Eric founded HillTech, a web development and management company, which grew to support clients in over fourteen states before its acquisition after five successful years. Eric graduated with a Bachelors in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University in December 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys anything involving airplanes, golfing, and sailing.
